We’re looking for an exceptional Business Support Manager - Secretariat and Communications to help us make a difference to our planet.
As our Business Support Manager, the job may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in the office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and the location advertised will be your contractual place of work.
Our opportunity is full time, 37 hours per week, but we would also consider applicants wishing to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and we will also try our best to consider those intending to work a job share. Our people are at the heart of what we do and we'll do our best to agree a working pattern that works for everyone.
Whilst this is a temporary position for 1 year, there is potential for it to develop into a permanent position.

The Office of Science & Technology (OST) reports directly to the Chief of Science & Technology and the Science and Technology Senior Leadership teams. OST is responsible for ensuring delivery at operational and strategic levels and takes into account the people, practices and strategic partnerships to enable success.
As Business Support Manager – Secretariat and Communications you will gain an understanding of the different elements and priorities of two substantial directorates and work closely with senior management colleagues.
You will be a proactive individual, responsible for Secretariat and Communications services that support the Science and Technology extended leadership teams. You will act as the interface between the science and technology extended leadership teams. In this role you will plan, lead and deliver effective internal and external communications to increase awareness and engagement across the organisation.
